Materuni Waterfall and Culture Tour

Materuni village is beautifully lush area to visit on the outskirt of Moshi. Here you can really get to grip with the life of local Chagga peoples, wandering through the village and passing their homestead. Located in the picturesque foothill of Kilimanjaro, Materuni has managed to retain it’s authentic edge over some of the tourist attractions as it isn’t one of the routes for climbing Mt Kilimanjaro. For your day trip, you’ll have two options for transport, between dala-dala (local mini bus), along with your guide or private car. You will have a coffee tour at a traditional Chagga shamba(farm). You will get a lot of information on Chagga lifestyle. You will learn about coffee, how produced hence to drinking as a hot beverage.
